Dear Sir. Following please find report of G.W. dated at Aurora Ills. July 24th 1888. Today in Aurora while among the strikers, Opr learned the following That a striking Engineer by the name of Shea intended to leave town said he had promise of work on the Wabash Road. The Strikers claim to have made about $500.00 on their Fair. Tom Bonny claimed $800.00 Dutchey Koegle and Tom Bonny were together a great deal and while in ? saloon Bob Hickey asked Koegle if he (?) had seen Reese and Koegle said, not yet. At Youngs there were not many strikers during the day or evening. Opr did not see Emerson but looked for him but failed to see him. The strikers held a meeting in the afternoon from 2 til 4 and in the evening from 8 til 9:30 Opr saw Bauersen several times in the morning he went to the shoe store No 110 Main St. stayed about an hour then went to the Hall.
