Chicago Aug. 1st 1888 H.B. Stone Esq Gen'l. Mgr. C.B.&Q.R.R. City Dear Sir Following you will please find report of Lieut F.S. Friday July 27?th 1888 Today in Aurora at 8 A.M. Lieut went on duty at Passenger Depot and yard and remained on duty until 6.30 P.M. and found all quiet. At 7 P.M. he stationed officers J.B. & B.F.R. on duty at the C.B.&Q.R.R. bridge between Aurora and South Aurora. He also stationed Officer P.Y. at the north end of the Q yards and he reports all quiet during the night. Lieut F.S. again went on duty from 7.30 P.M. to 11.50 P.M. and found all safe.
