He then went west on Adams to Jefferson Sts North on Jefferson St to Madison St. East on Madison St. to the Grand Central Hotel on the N.W. Corner of Canal and Madison Sts. and remained about 15 minutes in the Barbershop. He then went West on Madison St. to Jefferson St. where he boarded a Blue Island Ave unclear and got off on the Corner of Blue Island Ave and Taylor St, He stopped in a Kentucky Liquor Store and had a Drink. He then went to 388 W. Taylor St. and remained there about 15 minutes - He came out accompanied by a Lady then went west on Taylor to unclear Ave then North on unclear Ave to Madison St. and East on Madison St. to Halsted He left the Lady who boarded a Blue Island Ave bus. He then went East on Madison St. to Canal and then South to the Brislot Hotel - got his overcoat and went to the Union Depot and Took Train no 17 leaving at 9:45 P.M. and arrived at Aurora at 10:55 P.M. Opr then detailed Officer Ray to watch all trains and Escort all passenger Trains East - Opr left Sergt in charge at Midnight, who remained on duty with them until 1 a.m. and found everything safe.
