the holy name bu which I am called I can only be humbled and penitent and pray the Father to bring good out of evil. I think I should have been very glad to have been at the conference yesterday though I felt it was all right for me to be denied the privelege of meeting with Christians. I think too that I should have enjoyed sitting at the table of our common Lord and partaking the symbols of his dying love for I think I have repented of my wanderings and there I should have felt that his blood was sufficient to cleanse me from all sins. O, it is a glorious thought that our sins can't exceed the greatness of the ?? for them. He may come boldly to the throne of grace and plead for the conversion of th most hardened sinner. We may hope all thing through the merits of Christ.

  Let is take courage Lucy and have our faith strengthened by the account of  remarkable conversion and happy death in the last Mirror. What a direct proof that ours is a prayer hearing and covenant -keeping God.
   Finally my sister, let us pray together for the reviving of our own church ( for reformation must first begin at the house of God) and that the ungodly among us may be brought to inquire what they shall do to be saved.
   You say with emphasis "Pray for me." I will Lucy ask that you may be kept a burning and shining light to light others to kingdom of rest, that may not do as your unworthy friend has done, deny like Peter the Lord that brought you, or betray the Son of him with a kiss. Will you pray for me that I may exercise real sorrow for my sins, and that if I have been decieved in relation to myself I may never be undecieved and
