even if you have to make your stop short. I received a letter from Mother today. she writes that she can see some snow yet from the window, that she wants you to get home soon. She said nothing about the children so of course there is nothing special to say about them. You doubtless hear very often of Milo affairs so I need not repeat the news of the place. I received a good long letter from Mr. Rider & Almeda together, nearly two weeks ago It was dated 13th of April & there no bare ground was to be seen -- We are having a partition taken down to enlarge our dining room - the middle room as you recollect - joiners & plasterers are at work. So the house turned topsy-turvy but they will be through now in a few days and we shall find the alteration a great improvement. It is growing late so I will stop scribbling hoping to see you before many weeks Your affectionate sister Anna
