truly sorry you should have had such a  wearisome, painful week for your last week in Bangor. I  think it unpleasant and very fatiguing  sitting for Daguerreotype but business with the dentist is worst of all. You will be glad  enough to get to Dunbarton and I fear you will be sick there so as not to enjoy your visit with your friend. Mother feels troubled about the summons for her contained in the letter just received, is disinclined  to go and thinks her children  will not find in any picture what they see in her, which maybe partly true but we think  it will be a very great gratification to us to have her portrait currently painted.
