Anna would not think of leaving the children with Mary alone.. Ruthie is old enough & knows enough if she was of a different temperament but it would not do now.
I have "opened" the case according to my ability now will you all think of it & decide for me what I have better do. Till I received your letter I had thought it probable that I should stay till fall notwithstanding some longing whenever my thoughts get "away down East"
I wish I could know what Isaac will do & where they will be when I left Dunbarton I supposed that Nettie thought they should go West this Spring in that case I should see them here I suppose I ought not to spend money to go there when I go back when & how can I see them will Isaac stay there all summer or what will he do ? I suppose he dont know himself It seems to me that the Dr, would enjoy his visit in Maine in Sept. better than in June but his visit will be short as we shall go without him & he go to come back with Anna I want you should write immediately let us know all about your health & everything you can tell about all of you and after hearing from you I will write again & make arrangements about the journey perhaps it can be so that E. or S can meet us at Boston when ever we do go .
