to have thousands of tributary ravines - Each of which is carpeted with splendid grass & looks like an Eastern meadow while the sides of the ravines & tops of all the divides is covered with thick pine. The scenery is charming tho only wood meadow & rock to make the variety it is not monotonous. We travelled about 20 miles all told, a most excellent wagon road can be easily made - Pretty tired
