Up at 7 am- After breakfast commenced moving to get to the point selected for permanent residence - across the creek - about 400 yds off - Could do nothing at writing - laid about looking at the working parties - At 2 1/2 pm Wessels reported with his compy & the wagons came in soon after - They have come about 29 miles today - Jenney is terribly disgusted that we should have found the gold before he did - and
