of Engineering better than that of school teaching, if not than College life. Well, I believe I have not much more time for writing this letter. You must excuse it for my lack of time. And now I hope I shall soon have the pleasure of receiving a letter from you; and may it be the commencement of a lasting correspondence. I want to hear of the success of your school, and also where you expect to be the coming winter. I hoped to be able to visit Royalston again this Fall, but in my present employment it is very uncertain when I shall have any chance for a leave of absence. I must close. Please direct a letter to Brattleboro. If I am not here I shall get letters from here. Yours Sincerely I.S. Metcalf.
