Dearest I mailed an epistle to you this morning, but it being before Bank hours, {the letter was written on Sunday}, I could not enclose my money. To day I have purchased a New York Draft for fifty dollars which I will enclose herewith. Our money order office (P.O. Money Order) will not be running till next month comes in. This Draft will not be much trouble to you. I was almost inclined to send Bank Bills in a letter but this is safer; and if there is no Bank at Yarmouth you can easily get it cashed. Perhaps George can give you the money and, get it cashed when he goes to Portland, and give you the money, or probably any merchant or trader at Yarmouth will cash it for you. You will need to write your name across the back of the Draft, just as mine is. -- Simply your name if it goes right into Bank, Order & name (as it is now) if you want it paid to any one else. Finish haying today - got in my meadow mowed unfortunately last Wed. the day the heated storm broke up. somewhat injured by the weather. Eliab & Maria talk of going to Pennsylvania the same trip you & I took two years ago. Start next week, be gone some time; talk of taking two of the
