Some anxiety here now about the 6th Ill. Cavalry, in which Brad Skinker Capt. commands one Company from this place. The Regiment is reported badly cut up at Lagrange the other day in a Guerrilla fight. But no particulars yet received. It was Col. Loomis of DuQuoin Col of that Regiment, who was shot a few months ago by a drunken Major Harrod of Shawneetown, of the same Regmt Capt. Skinner came home with the body. Widow & 4 little girls here in DuQuoin. Sincerely Isaac
