Wed. 4th School does not keep this afternoon. I wish it had a Scientific Class Book; there is a class commencing it, it is just what I very much need to study, I should think. I have a great notion of giving Algebra and paying more attention to History, Philosophy -. I cannot attend to all Latin, Greek and every-thing at a time. James told me I had better get my coat made by Mr. Fox ? Market Sq,:that he did his work rather cheaper than other and he thought full as well; he always does their work. He says he don't know of any woman, who makes coats here, soforth. I have been into Mr. Fox's shop; his fixes one; for cutting and making a coat $5.00. Trimmings, also extra $2,25 for frocks $2,00 for dress coats, cutting, alone, 75. He said it would take 2 quarter yds for me a frock. 1 eighth for a dress coat. There is but 2 yd of that of mine is there? I am sure I don't know whether it is to be a frock coat, or not! AT some of the other shops, at least the price for making $6, $5.020 is a s far as my cash extends, and I ought to have some boots immediately. I want to know what it is best to do about the coat, selling the wool to, right away. Mr. Fox could not make the coat until next week if it was there now, he ways. There is to be a select school for young Ladies established here in a month or two, which I guess would have been a good situation for Anne, but the Teacher is already engaged, I believe A Miss. from Brunswick. It is expected that an assistant for Mr. Turner in the H.S will be wanted in the spring I believe.
