Sat 15 cold. a.m. chop boards. Ike pick grapes on ash tree in front yard. Eli got chestnuts in grove. p.m. hill lot. Eli & I dig potatoes Ike got walnuts & picked up " Eve Choir mtg. my solo Sun. 16 Sang solo "Oh for a closer walk with God" at Morning service. S.S. Lake Ave. 27 present. Beautiful weather. C.E. & eve. service. Mon 17 Dig potatoes all day kids pick up after school. warmer. Tues. 18 rain rain rain. Big fire last night. Linseed Oil Wks. a.m. pick over potat[oes] in new barn. monkey in new house. p.m. took Marion to new house & Geo.'s Then to Crisp & Henson's where she bought a new buggy for $45. & sold the old one for $10. & the lumber wagon for $5. Bought padlock for new barn & took it up there. Wed. 19 a.m. up to hill lot for some sweet corn took the old wagon and buggy to Crisp & Hensons and brought home
