Joe came on 7:00 car. 7 male persons to lake on picnic. went to Monroe cottage where Marion & Nelson have been for a week. good time. Keyes Nelson & I walked up beach past Lake Breeze to iron bound banks. Rain after 3 p.m. Marion & Nelson home with us. Thurs 4 a.m. we all picked & picked over beans peas for dinner. Then to hill lot. fixed a plot for strawberry plants. hoed potatoes. p.m. took " " up there & set them out. then hoed potatoes Eve. prayer mtg.
