Eve. patched my rubber boot. Thurs. 25. a.m. Wrote letters to Nette etc. p.m. all shovel dirt or rather mud. Fri. 26 shovelling all day. had some trouble in a.m. getting a 2nd wagon. Eve. to a social gathering at Mr. J.W. Young's on Lake Ave. Geo. Rich took 9 nine of us down. bed 1:.a.m. standard. Sat 27 shovelling all day. John p.m. only Mrs. Franklin Post here to dinner Eve. called on Wm. Dennis & wife to see son Robert. Sun. 28 S.S. 5 boys. Lake Ave, with Roy and Miss Sears. Birthday box started. 36 present. 7 new scholars. C.E. mtg. Plocher boys join. Mon 29 Shovelling at Early's a.m. 12 loads. p.m. 11 loads quit at 4 oclock on acct of big thunder storm. Mow in front yard. Eve. Write letter to Harl Tues 30. Family Picnic to Aunt Sarah's Got up on spur of the moment. Telephoned to Oberlin for Joe We 6 boys took 9:20 car John Marion Carrie & Franklin later. Weather perfect. Coming back all except John Carrie
