Chas. Jo & I cutting corn a.m. & p.m.

finished cutting. Brought Right home at noon. left calf at Georges. Picked 2 1/2 bus. grapes at hill lot. Tues 21 cold Nelsons birthday 7. 1st Fair day. a.m. took bus. tomatoes Mrs. Perry .25 First frost Chas. Jo & I picked up corn scattered around at hill lot. Then worked cutting of the big beech tree in grove. Chas. left p.m. cutting wood in grove till 3:30 Then Chas. & all of us to wood lot after hickory nuts. corn, tomatoes, pumpkin vines beans etc. snipped by frost Chas. left on midnight train. Wed 22 cool. a.m. monkeyed split wood in grove. Jo to College p.m. rode to Oberlin with J. Then all of us picked beans. hill lot. eve. mended pants. Thurs. 22 a.m. Eli & I cuts shock of the sweet corn on flat. then dig potatoes. Mrs Richardson to dinner p.m. dig potatoes. kids pick up. Keyes & Nelson
