Mon. June 28. fair. warmer. cultivated at hill lot till 10:30. Jno. and Eli and Ike hoeing. Then Jno and I went to wood lot and pitched on a load of hay. Geo. mowed clover N side E of ditch. p.m. put load on stack, went up and turned hay, got another load and stacked. Eve. Walking with Roy talking over C.E. Quartette practice. Ellis Wurts will take Fred Reave's class at Lake Ave for a month or so. Fred started for San Francisco C.E. Conv. today noon. also Miss Sears and Earnie Crisp. Tues 29 good rain in a.m. clear off p.m. rain again in night. Cleared up the barn in p.m. Father and Eli to hill lot planting beans etc. Then we went to wood lot and turned hay. Eve. C.E. business meetg. Marion and Jno. drove down to Baker Dist. to C.E. meeting. Wed. 30 clouds. hot hot. a.m. poling peas while kids picked peas and sold 2 1/2 pecks at 15 ct. a pk. Then to Woodlot to turn hay. p.m. Eli Ike and I got a 1 horse load. Geo. began mowing and broke down. We raked and cocked the clover. Eve. Choir social at Webster's. Quartette sang Jo came home eve. train.
