Elyria, Oct. 23, 1887 My dear Children What a terrible wind this is. I do not like to hear it, but we did like to see the boys when they came about dark. The wind blew them right along. We feel much broken up this season with so few of our children around us. We are some what lonesome because we want to see the folks. I do not believe you appreciated what a fine time Weuns? had yesterday. We reached home 6.15. Kate was quite stirred up about the bycycles & a number of other things but she brought us home safely and we were all good natured. We think our house delightful, and you both know what we think of you all
