March 27th 1894. 723--4-St. DesMoines Ia. Dear Pater & Mater & People --
How are you all -- How is the Y.P.S.C.E. getting along Penny? -- I enclose you a copy of my latest effort in the Y.P.S.C.E. here -- I want next to have manual of the Church printed. That comes harder. Penny notice the Committees. Do you have so many? What will you do about the convention in Cleveland? We have a Convention Committee. Mother you said once that Irv. did not like Men's Leagues. says They do not get men into church. We can't succeed to any extent in getting men church members into the League. It does interest the men of the Ch. & gets them to do. It attracts men to the services too. We have more men than women as a rule Sunday nights. Do you still have a quartet choir and who sings in it? I am thinking of having a chorus choir for evening especially. What is the news of Jim Stocking now? Did Mrs. Smith from the wild west come?
