1910 4/21 Angeline Martin a prefect in the school died in the dormitory at a few minutes before 10 o'clock P.M. She was 9 years of age, and the first death that has occurred in the school since I have been in charge of the agency. And I am informed it is the first that ever has occurred in the school building. The Doctor was called at 10 or 11 a.m. and found quite a temperature but a normal pulse. prescribed for the child and was again called a few minutes before it died. While he does not diagnose the case fully. it looks like a case of congestion of the Lungs - probably induced by getting in the cold Lake water and running several hours with wet feet the day before she appeared to be sick. It is a matter of extreme angst, but I am unable to find any one to blame. The unclear action unclear when the child unclear.
