3/10/09 In company with J. B. Noble unclear examined school Basement & Laundry building Found a most dilapidated & Tumble down state of the windows room. Water closet and The work shop in Laundry building open Windows broken. Tool closet open and tools lying on the floor and bench without any regard to order. Floor covered with dirt & debris. Door into the Laundry had been broken some the casings having been pried out in getting the door off. The closet unclear and the school closet were torn down. Ashes around the furnace door. The railing at one of the front doors down. One front door marked by whittling with a pocket knife and a general lack of oversight on the part of the Management.

   Intolerable in any government school. Recommendation at once
