1909 Dec 12 Saturday morning 12th Nah-bun am we and Frank Ellis called at the agency office and stated that a council was to be held at the old agency and stated that I was asked by the chiefs and head men there assembled to meet with them with Peter Groves as interpreter. That they had requested Hon Daniel DeLury to be present. That the council was important area of great ]]unclear]] to the Indians. I went as requested and found a very representative body of the Indians present representing the Pillagers, Cass & unclear and W.O.P, of the Mississippi present.
