 at home - Major and all the rest unclear but just after dinn.. Major came back - I went to office in afternoon - began little short skirt? for Mayo - Jonquils in full & perfect bloom this morning - Some trees covered with leaves  Mr Russel came at night -

Tuesday 14 March

 at home with Mr Russel in office - Mrs Wood & Martha here till after dinner - I intended to go into Miss Reynolds school with Mrs Keyes but she went to ride & did not return in season  I called at George Smiths & at the door at Dr. Wall's but she was gone -  Read Waverly? - Letters came from home & from Moth - M? at Milo -

Wednesday 15 March -

Shepherd's. Called at Mrs -  Very warm - Several showers  Blue bells in bloom - Quails talking all around the house -  left for Centralia & maybe St Louis
