 Isaac  left for the North - to be gone all the week - Mrs Nellis  fitted dress for me - I am reading "Mary Queen of Scots" Not a letter or a paper for us today.

Bright frosty morning - Mayo slept all night long - No men save Mr Kelly here last night  I sewed & read and ran about the lot and in P.M. called on Mrs. Shepherd who has fine babe. Also on Mrs Burgess and Mrs Jackson  Wrote to Cather? McK. in evening -
