Mr Rowley came fresh & ?right? - Isaac went to Big M and carried Charles & left him  ? home at night - Mr Rowley brought "Homes in New World" & Isaac T. Hopper that we sent for and gold pen & pencil case for Isaac  He brought me as Christmas present - Hadley's "Mary Queen of Scots" & "Lyrics from the Wide Wide World" - both tasteful pretty & good - We had social time in evening - Sarah Button finishes seven weeks today - Abby Wilson came to take her place -

Splendid day - Isaac not well - baby not well - self not well. Live in hope - Abby gone to Mr H Hinckleys to wash for sake of soft water - brought me a nice apple  Letter fr. home & from Cather? -
