Mailed letters home and to Anna - received some from Mother M. Lucy Garber? and Lucy Pond? All expect we have seen the new brother-in-law  Mr Roots here to dinner  Isaac at home -

Went to Depot and round by Elder Haguler's? meetinghuse - fine scene about the church, worth going to  See only an opening in the thick woods about the church and hordes with sa??tick?  saddlebck?, wagons with five or six chains in each tier? through the woods as far as one could see. Quite picturesque   Mr Seaver here at night -
