Thursday, July 9, 1874. Summer weather Father succeeded in getting a Publisher for me at last. Now for work -- copying, revising & selecting. Father & Della secured 17 subscribers.

Friday, 10 Cloudy weather. Wrote a letter to Aunt unclear & did some copying. My two canvassers -- father & Della -- are getting along nicely.

Saturday 11 Summer weather Copied & altered form of my efforts. Mr Clark sent me another bouquet of flowers. Not a ride this week, nor anything from the mial-carrier.
