Sunday 30th Spent the day at home engaged in reading, singing, writing &c

Monday 1st I filled the same old place about the mill

Tuesday August 1st The same in the forenoon. Afternoon I run? Behemoth non-varying monotony

Wednesday 2nd Wheeled sawdust &c as usual.

Thursday 3rd The mill being out of tune, old Behemoth was suffered to remain idle. I tinkered prohniseuously? about the mill during the day

Friday 4th In the fore noon I worked on the road: After dinner I fired up preparatory to a start (the mill being repaired) then resumed my old place.

Saturday 5th Still the same old sixpence
