Monday May 2nd Spent the day as usual studying grammar and walking about.

Tuesday May 3rd After walking about in the forenoon. H? and I left for Minneapolis in the afternoon. I was quite tired when we arrived. I studied grammar during the forenoon.

Wednesday May 4th Returned from Minneapolis. We noted our company friend tot eh Sanitary Commission. I studied grammar a good deal today. I also spent some time in reviewing and walking about.

Thursday May 5th. The boys were discharged. Ned came down.
