1866. Friday, May 18. Beautiful day again In the office all day Sherman rode down to Mr Dey's toward Brighton. I agreed with Wm Todd for his unclear of the notes against the Ryes making a pretty good thing. At night went to the sociable at Jonah Wilsons with Miss _____ & of course had a good time. Feel pretty dull today in consequence of my fishing excursion of yesterday. Retire at 11.30 PM
