Mr. McCullock preached - went home in the rain. 11th visited the high school + kindergarten - then to the chamber of commerce - saw and heard the Telephone. - 1-1/2 miles distant quite distinctly. walked up to the Exposition Buildings - a darkey(?) pie in there - getting warm - a fire was comfortable - a few days past 12th rode to Cincinnati - visted the Zoological gardens - rode up and down the inclined planes then went to the river - took a skiff & crossed the Ohio river into Kentucky - + under the suspension Bridge - saw the old market house tat I saw 48 years ago - put u at the Walnut street house. William G. Bryant Died this morning 13th walked over [July 27] suspension Bridge to Kentucky - also walked around the old Market house - afternoon visited the Music Hall. saw & heard the great Organ. Friday at 5 oclock started for Indianapolis - arrived at 10-1/2 oclock P.M. 14th pleasant morning warm. saw & heard the Phonograph then visited the old State House grounds then visited the State Board of Agriculture + Museum - expect to start home tomorrow.
