A public dinner was prepared and all present invited to partake In the evening we had a wedding. One of our pupils was married to Rev James Quick who is soon to sail for India. The ceremony was performed in the Central parlor after which all were invited to the tables where we found 6 very large wedding cakes other cakes, a barrel of lemonade &c

The next morning I left for Michigan, spent nearly three weeks in different parts of it and since my returns have be to Kentucky. Except to go to Indiana next week, should enjoy it better if the schools were in session but the are closed + the teachers absent
