hardly have waited any longer she felt so lonely. It was so rainy you know and she had left so lately so gay a place that she missed me more.

  We have had beautiful weather until yesterday noon since I left Remsen. ? says she is of Welsh extraction but it is so far back that she does not know much about it. Perhaps we might have made ? relationship with such a definite knowledge of pedigree. 
 How are all of you good folks. I want to hear of them all and especially the one whose evils were so akin to Job's when I was with you. 
  I have so severe a headache that is with difficulty I write today but I trust you will be charitable and not judge this sheet as if it came from one uncrippled. 
  Please give my love to your people and accept a large share for yourself. Will you please write me very soon and I shall hope that my answer will be more myself than this.
