Dear Sister,

Your cheery letter did us all much good but I want more- I am very glad you have got you a seal sack. I think I had better wait another year before getting anything of that kind for myself- My journey came instead of that and I am very well satisfied so - Anna's cloak looks nicely with the fur you got for her and it is very comfortable- she speaks of it almost everytime she puts it on and so I can understand how much she was needing it. Hope yours will be just as much comfort to you- I have long wished you might dress better and am very glad you are able to do so at last- I am sorry that Mrs. Jardine is wearying herself with that sewing- It is a hard way

in margin: that I might give them I would make it right with you again- Hattie and Holden seem much attached to each other- Tomorrow the college term begins and they are busy today as his last day of vacation - I would like to be with you at your Commencement- Hope it will all pass off very pleasantly- I found many valued friends among the lady physicians and should be happy to meet them again. How is Dr. Waite and family? Do you often see any of Mrs. Taylor's people? Do you practice any now? Won't we be glad to be all together once again- The
