I got up at six and ordered the Carriage and went to the Kokomo Depot with Octave and Hunt. met Mr Harvey and Belle in their Carriage, all going to receive Ada and Mattie Faulds from Louisville. they arrived on time both fat and well. my Mother much better I then went to church with Ada, Mr Badger and the boys went out to his Father,s. after lunch Belle Mr Harvey Mattie and Octave all came up to spend the afternoon Mr Badger and I went back with them to supper. Monday May 31 1875 This has been a bright day, all of us well I have concluded to give up my Norwegian girl as she dont seem nice enough. her name is note left margin: Olsen + Hannah Olsen. after lunch Ada Hunt & myself all went to the different places to find a new girl and then went shopping. I went up and labor had begun but worked very slowly, she suffering all night. + sent for Dr Small and Mrs Nelson. at one O,clock in the night or morning, a little daughter was born weighing 8 pound, and the Doctor announced another and at three sure enough another little girl was born weighing eight pound X
