Eva spent the day with Belle, after lunch I went out with Ada and Hunt, called for Eva and Belle came with us, we went downtown. recieved Wedding Cards of Miss Huntington Wednesday Dec 2nd 1874. This has been a mild day. all well. Ada went out in the sleigh with Thomas and Hunt. Snow is melting fast Catie Isaacs came from Evanston to spend the day with us. after Lunch I went to the toy shops with Eva Ada and Hunt. We saw many pretty things, came home late. Mrs George Clark and Mrs Eldridge called on us today. Thursday Dec 3rd 1874. This has been a mild day all the snow gone. all of us well. Eva and Ada went to Belle's to take Lunch with several ladies. Mrs Otis and baby, Miss Foote Miss Alexander Mrs Henrotin & Teddie, Miss Martin & Mrs Coft Tomasson & Mrs Horace Lunt. they had a fine lunch. after tea Mrs Mill Angell and Mr Cox called. Mr George Lunt came and took Ada to the Assembly. Mr Badger and I went also to the party. I danced with Dr Jones, Mr May, Mr Trower, Mr H.E. Brown, Mr G. Lunt, Mr Hunter, Mr Kelly, Mr Rockwell, Mr Riley called tonight Friday Dec 4th 1874 It has been cold today and cloudy. all of us well. Belle called to see us. Ada went with her to lunch. I went out after dinner in the carriage with Eva Ada and Hunt. George Meeker called to night. Mrs Evelyn Bruinard called today. I gave Louisa up today, so as to get a white girl in her place. Saturday Dec 5 1874, A mild day. My two boys went in the buggy to pay some bills for me They broke the spring of the buggy. all of us well. Louisa left today. I had to give her X up. so us to get her room for my white girls. She was very sorry to go and cried a great deal. My boys went to dancing school. after ten Mrs Angell Eva and Ada Mr Badger and I all went to hear Charlotte Chushman read
