supper room, with handsome silver glass ware, and all the needfuls for giving balls, also reading rooms, wine rooms &c Spent the after noon & evening at the American Consul, had a nice dinner it being a mixture of American and Spanish dishes. The dinner was served by Indian waiters--The young ladies gave us some nice music, I had the first good cup of coffee there that I have had since I left home. Took a long walk this Evening but saw nothing new--Had an orangeade & went to bed early.
