26 composed of Miamies, Chippaways, Puttawatamies, Ottoways, Wyandots, Delawares and Shawanocs attacked General St. Clair at Fort Recovery on the Wabash. The Indians were victorious. General St. Clair lost about nine hundred men killed and wounded. The Indians had forty killed and died of their wounds the day of the action, and seventy five wounded.

 In the Autumn of 1792, an army of three hundred Indians consisting of Miamies, Delawares, Shawanoes and a few Puttawatamies, commanded by Little Turtle; attacked Cols.
