   The carrier of the war budget or bag, is never passed on the march by any of the party. 
   When the party halts, the budget or bag is carefully laid on the ground in front of their encampment, and no person is permitted to pass it without permission from the commander. No person is permitted to sit down or lay his back or gun on a log or stump; nor is any person allowed to talk of women whilst they are going towards the enemy. 
   When a four leged animal is killed, during their march towards the enemy, the heart is carefully preserved by the senior warrior until they encamp. When they halt, a fire is made by the side, tho in the rear of the war budget; the heart is then cut in small peaces, put on the coals & burned to a cinder. 
   No person is permitted to step a cross the fire, or walk round it in any other direction, than the way the sun traverses.
