5th. Po,chuse,hat,che from Po,chu,so,wau (a hatchet) and hatche, a creek. This creek joins Coosau 4 miles below puccun,tal,lau,hass,ee on its right bank. This village is high up the creek, nearly 40 miles from its mouth on a flat band on the right side of the creek. The settlements extend up & down the creek for a mile. A mile & half above the settlements there is a large cane brake, 3/4 of a mile through and 3 or 4 miles in length. The land adjoining the settlements is waving & rich - oak, hickory & poplar. The branches all have reed. The neighboring lands above these settlements are fine for settlements; those below, are high broken hills. It is situated between Hil,lau,bee and Woc,co,coie about 10 miles from each town. Three miles west of the town there is a small mountain. They have some hogs. 6th. O,cfus,coo,che (little Ocfuskee) is a part of the small village 4 miles above New Yau cau. Some of these people lived at O,cfus,koenene? on Chat,ta,ho,che from whence they were driven by an enterprising volunteer party from Georgia the 27th Sept 1793.
