I have just received your communication of yesterday and it will require some time to answer it, which I shall do with pleasure. I have only now to request your delegation to meet me at your Committee Room tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock a.m.

Sir,
I requested you last evening to let me have a copy of the proceedings of the General Council of the Cherokee Nation in reference to the COmmunications I addressed to them. I wish to know whether I am to be provided with a copy or not. I stand in need of it at present.
