27 Resolved by the Committee of the Cherokee Nation that Mr Chas Hicks is nominated and duly appointed to be one of the principal Acting Chiefs of this nation, next in dignity to the Path Killer, to fill the vacancy arising in consequence of Toochal having been divested of his rank among the chiefs.
