82 God told the Indians what they might eat, and what they should not eat. They were not to eat foxes, dogs, wolves, snakes, moles, Polecats, Rabbits, opposums, Buzzards, crows, Ravens, Cranes, Fish hawks, Eagles, Owls, Hoot owls, Bats, Wood cocks &c. They must not eat eels, nor any kind of water snakes, nor cat fish, nor gar fish, nor Tsu wi, i.e. a fish with a flat head and in other respects very much resembles a snake.

They might eat chickens, Turkeys &c, cattle, deer, Buffalo &c. &c. +
