It rained a little last night, but this morning is beautiful, I rose early and David. James, Hunt and I all went to the Hawthorn? spring and drank the water, then to the Congress spring and took a little. Hunt had the Dog named Joe with him, he is a beautiful Spitz,s dog. she is a pretty little girl who lives in the Cottage near us, and plays with our children. I wrote a long letter to day to Mrs Leiter in England. I have just received a letter from Mr Angell, he will be here in the morning. I also had a letter from Mr Badger and Shreve, the twins are doing well.
