hardly have waited any longer she felt so lonely. It was so rainy you know and she had left so lately so gay a place that she missed me more. We have had beautiful weather until yesterday noon since I left R[?]. [?] says she is of Welsh extraction but it is so far back that she does not know much about it. Perhaps we might have made [?] relationship with such a definite knowledge of pedigree. How are all of you good folks. I want to hear of them all and especially the one whose evils were akin to Job's when I was with you. I have so severe a headache that is with difficulty I write today but I trust you will be charitable and not judge this sheet as if it came from one crippled.
