 Courtship is carried on in the Woods  I suppose in about the same manner as any where else. The ?enth? on being accepted, is generally  ?  by his parents to erect a Log-house; the necessary furniture is obtained and other appurtenances belongy? to domestic affairs, will I         & for a comment.
 We will suppose the marriage ceremony to be celebrated at the domicile of the bride. All the Neighbors round? are ? at times of the number of a hundred persons.  The females of the party are closeted with the bride until the appointed time comforting and consoling her and arranging her bridal dress. The Neighbors congregate, when the bride is ushered in with the "Father" and Bridesmaids - followed by the 'Intended' - and his partender? friends.
