Arthur would resign his position.

There are very few strikers around in the Evening a very few at Youngs. The Strikers had a meeting: Tom Hornly asked Mears what was done at the meeting Mears said that there was a letter read from some Lodge from Chicago which came to try and get the exact no of men out of work now.

Opr was around the Depot and R.R. Tracks till a late hour.

Opr further reports that while in Young Bros Cigar Store he overheard a conversation about a letter which had been recieved by the Lodge here coming from St. Louis and a striking Engineer said that Bauevisu? wrote it and Santhey? said no it must be from Lodge.
