I am quite well & get along finely, it is such very bad walking that Lucy now could not well go down town to get the things but I can send you some thread & will try to impress it upon C. to buy a Cowl.- I think you ought to make James work, some or he will get into bad habits and do take comfort yourself & not work hard.
