Aug 22. Sabbath Not very well did not attend meeting in the morning - went in the afternoon and heard a sermon from Psa 80-16. But I fear I did not profit by it. My thought were everywhere but where they should be - How angry minds & God be with me. Oh, may I repent truly and turn from my evil ways to my God. I do wish to see my sinfulness and feel it I do wish for more of the influences of the Holy Spirit and for a Spirit of ardent prayer. Aug 23. Ch for God's blessing to day without his presence I can do nothing. I need that wisdom wh. is from above wh. is profitable to direct.
